VENISON & BROCCOLI

Ingredients |
Utensils |
| 1 pound venison stew meat |
Sauce pan |
| 2 cups water |
Frying pan |
| 1 10 ounce package frozen
broccoli |
|
| 1 box beef flavored rice mix |
|
| 2 tablespoons Worcestershire
sauce |
|
| 3 tablespoons flour |
|
| 1/2 cup water |
|
| 3 tablespoons oil |
|
| Salt
and pepper |
|
Directions
In sauce pan, brown venison in 3 tablespoons oil
Season with salt and pepper and Worcestershire sauce
Add two cups of water
Simmer until meat is tender, 1-1/2 hours adding water as necessary
Place frozen broccoli on top of meat
Cover and simmer
In frying pan, prepare rice mix according to package instructions, adding
an additional 1/2 cup of water
Add meat mixture and broth to rice mix
Bring to a boil
Mix flour and water
Add small amounts to venison and broccoli until thickened |
