VENISON STIR FRY
A tasty venison stir fry with broccoli
and apples

Ingredients |
Utensils |
| 1 1/2 pounds venison, cut into 2
X 1/2 inch strips |
Skillet or wok |
| 3 tablespoons sugar |
Large bowl |
| 1/4 cup soy sauce |
|
| 1 teaspoon crushed mint or dill |
|
| 2 tablespoons olive oil |
|
| 1 tablespoon butter |
|
| 1 bunch broccoli florets |
|
| 3 broccoli stalks, peeled and
sliced to 1/2 inch (optional) |
|
| 1 medium onion, cut into wedges |
|
| 1
small or 1/2 large apple, cut into 1/2 inch chunks |
|
Directions
Mix sugar, soy sauce and mint or dill in medium bowl
Coat venison with sauce mixture and set aside
Heat oil and butter in wok or large skillet on medium high
Add venison and sauce and cook for about 4 minutes
Remove venison from sauce and set aside
Add broccoli and onion to sauce
Cover and cook until tender
Add venison and apple to wok and mix together
Serve over rice |
