SAUERKRAUT MOOSE BALLS

Ingredients |
Utensils |
| 1 pound ground moose |
Large mixing bowl |
| 1/2 pound ground pork |
Cookie sheet |
| 3 eggs |
Deep fryer or skillet |
| 1 cup sauerkraut, squeezed dry
and finely chopped |

| 1/2 cup processed cheese spread |
|
| 1 small onion, minced |
|
| 1 teaspoon minced garlic |
|
| Salt and pepper |
|
| 1 cup dried fine breadcrumbs |
|
| Oil
for deep-frying |
|
Directions
Mix together all ingredients, except bread crumbs
Roll into 1 inch balls, then in bread crumbs
Place on cookie sheet and chill for 30 minutes
Heat oil to 400°F and deep fry balls a few at a time for about 30 seconds
or until golden brown
Drain on paper towels
Serve with super-hot or sweet-hot mustard |
