| 1 elk roast |
Roasting pan |
| 1 slice bacon, cut into small
pieces |
|
| 2 cloves garlic, mashed |
|
| 2 whole cloves |
|
| 1 cup orange juice |
|
| 1 bay leaf |
|
| Salt
and pepper |
|
Directions
Cut slits in meat
Insert bacon, garlic, salt and pepper
Brown meat
Place in roasting pan
Top with bay leaves and cloves
Roast until done, basting frequently with orange juice |
