Ingredients |
Utensils |
| 4 bear chops, 2-inches thick |
Frying pan |
| 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper |
Baking dish |
| 4 strips bacon |
|
| 1 tablespoon sugar |
|
| 1 bay leaf |
|
| 1/2 cup sour cream |
|
| 1 teaspoon garlic salt |
|
| 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes |
|
| 2 tablespoons cider vinegar |
|
| 1 tablespoon soy sauce |
|
| 1/2
cup water |
|
Directions
Rub chops with garlic salt, parsley flakes and pepper
In cold frying pan, fry bacon and brown chops in fat
Set chops in bottom of baking dish
With frying pan hot, but not smoking, add water, sour cream, cider
vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and bay leaf
As soon as this comes to a bubble, pour over chops
Cover and bake at 325°F for 1 hour, 45 minutes or until chops are well done |
